Our
Mission
SleepEd
is a non-profit organization, founded and operated in close association
with the Stanford University Sleep Disorders Clinic and Research Laboratory.
Based on the expertise of world-renowned experts in the field of sleep,
we have crafted a curriculum and textbook to raise the level of awareness
about the importance of sleep among high school students. An intensive
weeklong curriculum is combined with a long-term evaluation of each
student's sleeping patterns to engage and motivate students to obtain
the sleep they need. Along with the textbook, the curriculum effectively
targets the age group for which sleep is most important, and creates
a commitment to sleep well for the rest of their lives. Students will
reap the benefits of such knowledge in realms including academic testing,
cognitive and athletic performance, overall health, and improvement
in quality of life.
